First time visit today. Patches can be hesitant with some people. Is a rescue. But he took to Heather immediately! She did a fabulous job! She is very caring and adores the pets. She has rescue dogs herself. She is now our permanent groomer!

This is my favorite groomer I have ever been to! She is super friendly and is quick! She brushes my pug out so that she is not shedding all over my house and give her a good bath with nail trim. She can always get my dog seen quickly whenever I message her and does her best to work with my scheduled to have my dog groomed. She is super gentle with dogs and does her best to make a relaxing environment for them.

First time I've had my dog's professionally groomed. Usually the vet office trims their nails because I just hold them still long enough to do it.They couldn't get them in soon enough for my schedule so I went looking. Facebook Unleashed shared her information and they all had such wonderful things to say. I am so very relieved that I have someone so convenient, affordable, and professional to take my babies in. She washed, shampooed, clipped hair, trimmed nails, etc etc etc EVERYTHING! So affordable I was completely surprised. I also like the fact that we are visiting friends and they aren't walking up to an loud office. SCARY!! OH Auntie Heather, we'll come back for another visit soon!!!!! Thank You!!!

Heather is absolutely fabulous. She loves dogs and dogs love her. She genuinely cares about how the dogs feel during grooms and adjusts grooming techniques to accommodate all levels of doggie anxiety. Would absolutely recommend to any and everyone looking for a groomer.

I LOVE Heather! The only groomer Kuma goes to ❤️ I trust her to not only take amazing care of him and get him looking good but to keep him comfortable and love him like I would while doing it! She’s so knowledgeable and great at knowing a dogs limits and the best way to handle each of them. Every pup is so unique in what they need and how they need to be handled and loved, and heather has a magical way of just KNOWING what’s best. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a groomer, even if you’re not looking for one, go give her a try!

Heather, by far has given me the best treatment by any groomer I've ever taken my dog to. I love the fact that I can make an appointment for my dog and pick him up about an hour later. I love the fact that hes not sitting in a kennel all day long waiting for me to pick him up. I know she offers the service for your dog to be dropped off if that is what you need. Heather always takes the extra step to make sure that all of my dogs extra needs are always taken care of and he absolutely loves being around her other pets.

Heather is the only groomer I will take our dog to. Mia, our Maltese, feels comfortable and loved when she gets groomed. She would shake and get worked up at other places, but not with Heather! She also gives Mia the exact haircut I ask for because I don't like the "Maltese" cut! I would highly recommend!! Like

My 11 yr old dog has always been stressed and crying when her nails are clipped. Heather has a calming and gentle touch. She takes the time to make the experience as easy on your pet as possible. At Auntie Heather’s Hair of the Dog Grooming, we offer an exceptional, and comprehensive grooming experience because all dogs deserve exceptional care! I make it my priority to make sure every dog gets VIP treatment, and personally guarantee every dog leaves my salon feeling pampered and smelling wonderful!  My daily special includes grooming my client’s dogs with any of the following products of their choice: specialized hypoallergenic vegan shampoo, brightening oatmeal and ultra-shampoo, a deep coat conditioner with lavender and coconut, blueberry facials, nail trim plus grind, tooth gel, and homemade bandannas with stitching to avoid fraying.  

I place a special emphasis on creating a truly relaxing oasis for the dogs, with violin and piano instrumentals playing in the background, and Yankee candles lit. We make sure the dogs have their own cozy kennels with fluffy blankets & water and they’re very happy when Alexa is playing peaceful music!
